The EMPIRE Trick List is a online snowboard video contest open to all Canadian citizens.

The contest consists of a team of one (1) snowboarder and one (1) filmer/editor required to film & edit a video part with as many tricks possible from a pre-determined trick list.

The trick list will consist of four (4) different categories.

Each team will have six (6) weeks (February 14, 2011 to March 27, 2011) to film their video part.

Each team will have to upload their video part to Youtube or Vimeo only by 11:59pm on Sunday March 27, 2011.

Judging will last one (1) week and the winning team will be announced on Monday April 4, 2011 at 12:00pm.

The winning team will get;

- Snowboarder;
$10,000.00
1 Year sponsorship with DC Canada.
1 Year sponsorship with Empire.

- Filmer/Editor;
$5,000.00
1 Year supply of DC product.

- The winning video part will be in Standard Film’s 20th Anniversary DVD Bonus section, on the Standard Film’s website and a remix edit will be done by Standard Films, also on the Empire’s website video section, and on the Monster website.

- The winning team will also get a three (3) night trip to Montreal for the official award ceremony and after party.

  • Wednesday, February 16th 2011 10h43 dans le cas où ce n'est pas évident pour tout le monde ... l'objectif est de faire le plus de truc possible sur chaque type de rail. oui vous pouvez répéter la même truc pour chaque catégorie.le jugement est basé à 50% sur la quantité de truc, le facteur de dificulte 25% et 25% pour le style . une variété de "spot" est fortement recommandé, mais vous pouvez faire un tas de truc à la même place. n'oubliez pas de lire attentivement toutes les règles et n'oubliez pas votre ruban de signalisation orange!! bonne chance By ryan
  • Wednesday, February 16th 2011 10h33 in case its not clear for everyone... the goal is to do as many tricks possible on each type of rail. so yes you can repeat the same trick for each different category. the judging is based 50% is on quantity, 25% style and 25% gnarly factor. a variety of spots is strongly suggested but you can session a rail and do a bunch of trick on the same spot. be sure to read all the rules carefully and don't forget your orange flagging tape!!!! good luck By ryan
