Globe is United By Fate
Globe is rolling out an interesting video project titled United By Fate. It is a skateboarding film broken out into pieces and released sequentially online and for free. These episodic releases will feature the skate stylings of Mark Appleyard, Chris Haslam, Rodney Mullen, Matt Mumford, Jake Duncombe, Greg Lutzka, David Gonzalez, Shane Cross and the rest of the Globe team.

You can see Blackomb from this glacier. We had a great QP set up that day and a surprise appearance from Peter Line. He is always great to watch. Its a sick view and the sound of the heli, sled and whistling wind is amazing.

Steve Klassen's (Wave Rave) John Logic's (Snowboard Connection),
World Boards, and Eastern Boarder. It's unfortunate that in some territories there aren't examples of these very financially successful snowboarder-owned snowboard stores.
Maravetz:
When you go into a good shop, the service you get is just incredible.
But it's about more than just price or getting great service, it's the experience. I don't know how many of the bigger chain shops will hold a box event in their parking lot.
Reid:
When you have a Darkside, Eastern Boarder, Wave Rave,
World Boards, or Empire completely entrenched in their riding scene, supporting local riders, and understanding it, then you see very healthy snowboard scenes. The more of those kind of retailers we have the better.

CRAIG KELLY
Filmmaker Jacques Russo has made a film about the life of pro snowboarder Craig Kelly. It's called Let It Ride, and it has just won > Best Picture, and > Best Soundtrack ! at the 2007 X Dance Film Festival. The film is reportedly very good. But then, how couldn't it be. As an official Burton filmer during the early years, Russo has likely shot more footage of Craig than anyone. Narrated by Metallica's James Hetfield, the film's soundtrack includes Pearl Jam, Metallica, the Doors, Johnny Cash and Edgar Winter among others.
